Happy Easter Everyone.

Hello everyone,

Just dropping by with a short post, I have been working on unfinished projects these past weeks which include knitting a soft bunny rabbit toy for my Nephews daughter and crocheting a simple pram blanket for a friend at work who is waiting for the arrival of her first Grandson.

Not forgetting a little cross stitching in the evenings too.

Here are a couple of older pictures of projects I made with an Easter theme.

Hello everyone, How are you all? It has been a lovely mild day today here in the UK, I am also off work for a week and plan for a good catch up with knitting projects and some stitching.

I want to thank new followers and all of you who have linked back to my new blog here, much appreciated.

This post has two of my knitting patterns I wrote a couple of years ago and I just wanted to add them back on my blog for you.

SIMPLE KNITTED WRIST WARMERS

Materials - DK yarn MC, 1 x 50g and small amount for CC.
I used SIRDAR SALSA /MERINO WOOL.
4mm needles & embroidery needle.

Right and left hand both worked in one piece and joined at the sides when finished.
Begin with 4mm needles use CC and cast on 46sts. Start with RS work in rib k4, p4 to last 2sts, p2. Continue 7 more rows and end on WS.
Inc  1 stitch each end, 48sts.
Next break of CC and join MC now continue in st, st, starting with a knit row and continue till work measures 23cm from beg. Or till you have reached the length of your choice.
Next row Dec 1st each end 46sts. Break off MC  and join with CC, the same as the beginning continue in rib k4, p4, for 8 rows. Cast off end with a RS.

NOTE- if you  decide to make the length of your wrist warmers longer then stated, you will need and extra ball of yarn.
To finish join sides and sew, secure ends and decorate as you wish, or as in the picture using a few embroidery stitches.
Hope you enjoy the pattern and let me know if you have any problems. Julie. C

Next pattern is the knitted scarf.
